Process Technician ?Injection Molding 2012-NOV?14

Experience in the setup and processing of both electric and hydraulic injection molding

machines, hot and cold runner molds, and associated peripheral equipment.

Responsible for setting up new molds; establishing processes that produce parts that meet visual and dimensional specification; establish process monitor ranges to ensure consistent quality and productivity. Communicate with engineering and the tool room on recommended tooling improvements after first samples.

Continuous auditing of production processes to maintain standards of quality,

productivity and process consistency. Knowledge of RJG process monitoring a plus. Helping with the design and implementation of End of Arm tooling, production

containment and programing of robotics.

Troubleshoot problems with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Knowledge of electrical, cooling water and compressed air support systems including ability to diagnose system problems and communicate with outside manufactures if repairs cannot be performed in a timely manner internally.

Communicate with prior and oncoming shifts to give work assignments and expectations

to achieve production requirements and promote shift interaction and awareness Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency and work with quality assurance to ensure part quality/performance by following 7Quality Basics

ADDITIONAL SKILLS Knowledge of MS Office suite, Programming, Troubleshooting of ABB,STAR,ENGEL,HUSKY, DEMAG, SUMITO and ICHIKO Robots,RJG,5S,Kaizen.
