modify and view EDF (European Data Format) files which record physiologic signals from

overnight sleep studies (Java, Eclipse)

• Documented the software which contains more than 10 packages (Java)

• Added new test cases for translation/validation package, and redesigned the translator package

(used to translate different vendor specific file formats to a standardized one) applying the

Factory Pattern

• Added file validation process for both EDF and XML files in Matlab code. Added features:

Scalable to accommodate new vendor formats and studies; Robustness in handling all source

file errors; Configurable for multi-modality sleep studies
