Facility Management System (FMS) is a critical project which helps Sprint
in building the required telecommunication network for business and for
individual customer. The application helps in inventory and engineering of
Sprint network and telecommunication equipments. Access Method Information
system provides routing details.
CEAS is the Corporate Exchange Architecture System, a database system.
It identifies the exchange data and network architecture Sprint uses in all
facets of its business life.
Access Management Information system (AMIS) is used by Access Management as
the decision support platform for cost and capacity management, financial
reporting and pricing analysis. AMIS costing has been created with business
rules to determine the answers to which circuits or system contracts should
cost systematically, how to apply costs, should ratcheting be applied to
the circuits, and should the costs for the circuits be allocated down to
the lower level circuits. AMIS calculates the Monthly Recurring Charge
(MRC) for a circuit or system

Facilities Management System (FMS) is a system where the orders fed by
Order entry systems (Customer Information System (CIS) and Enterprise
System (ES)) are processed, moved from one inbox to another inbox, until
the order is completed. Orders can be Revenue and Network.
FMS keeps track of all equipment Sprint owns or maintains as well as
customer information associated with the equipment. FMS contains
standardized inboxes that display order by circuit, private line number,
switch, POP site, service type, company code, revenue or network and
activity type when a function is performed.
MQ series, TCP/IP, Mercury are used as middleware to send API messages to
other systems.
API Messages contain information required by other systems based on Message
id and Process id.
Responsibilities:
. Understanding and review the Functional and System requirement of a
project and schedule a meeting with the onsite SME's to discuss the
project related details.
