Expertise in printing machine of various make like Cerrutti, Schiavi, Rotomec, Sungan, Expert, Fadia and Lamination machines like Nord mechanica, Comexi, Canera flex make.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Currently working with Rathna Packaging India (P) Ltd.Hosur (TN) as a Maintenance Manager from 3rd March 2014 to till date.

Previously worked with 3M India Limited. Pune as a Mechanical Maintenance coordinator from 20th July 2011 to 1st March 2014.

Before worked with Uflex Limited as a Maintenance Officer from 3rdMarch 2007 to 18th July 2011.

Started my career with M.P.Products India as a Quality Engineer from 2005 to February 2007.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Hands on experience in machines related to Adhesive Mixing, Transfer & Metering process, Corona treatment process, Kadent system, Turret and Auto splicing system, which are all the main divisions of the coating, printing and poly application machines.

Hands on experience in coating techniques like Direct, transfer, low adhesive back side, DCTT, DCPET, DC PVC, DC Foam, ATT.

Knowledge of pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) &basic knowledge of tackifiers, cross linkers, solvents.

Have basic knowledge of mixing, solvent handling, web handling and web path trials.

Hands on experience in web tensioning, wrinkle elimination, gravure roller setting, doctor blade setting. Double roll coating.

Hands on experience in solving coating defects and developed troubleshooting chart with remedies.

Developed Maintenance program for tape coating machine. (Tape coating machine is used for single sided and double side tapes. Die coating and gravure coating is the process used for coating.)

o Experience in Fire hydrant and sprinklers systems,CO2 flooding system, LFL system.

o Conversant with Propane storage, Distribution systems & Gas train maintenance.

o Experience in trouble shooting of Coating Defects like Adhesive missing, Tissue missing, Wrinkles on liner, Less adhesion, Streaks marks, GSM variation, Curling of liner/Tape, Void complete metal transfer, Void printing direction, Top coat patches,Oozing,Splice failure, Telescopic /Loose winding/Gappingetc.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS&JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and implementing the preventive and predictive maintenance schedule of plant equipments for improving the overall availability, uptime and reliability of equipments.

Tracking & analyzing daily breakdowns and improve MTTR and MTBF by taking corrective and preventive actions and conducting kaizen burst sessions with technicians.

Executing cost and energy saving kaizens.

Planning and management of spares, manpower planning, job sequencing and planning for preventive maintenance and shutdowns.

Attending breakdowns and troubleshooting machine and process issues.

Imparting continuous on job training to the subordinates to enhance their operational efficiency.

Generating work Orders for PM activities through SAMS and ensure closing the work orders.

ACHIEVEMENTS WITH 3M INDIA LIMITED;

Spare parts localization for adhesive tape coater saving 12 lacks.

Developed gravure dip coating for water based and prime coating applications.

Developed printing process on adhesive tape coater M/C for Void and other tapes

Independently handled Tape Installation and commissioning for slitting machine as part of project.

Provided solution for elimination of wrinkles in coating line.

Modified mixer agitator for better cross linking process.

Consistently maintained an uptime above 99% for tape converts and coating machine.

ACHIEVEMENTS WITH UFLEX:

Installation commissioning of Printing & Packaging line with Printing, Lamination, Slitting, poly-extrusion, pouching m/c related utility and their accessories.

Playing pivotal role in leveling of m/c alignment of rollers, alignment of pump, air ducting, and pipe line work fabrication of different thing hydraulic testing of air receiver.

TRAINING ATTENDED:

RTO Operating and Maintenance training by Megtech engineer from Germany.

Thermic Fluid heating system training from Thermax.

Adhesive tape coater training by OEM from Taiwan.

ERT training from USHA fire.

Gone through Industrial Training in Thermal Power Plant at Hindalco Industries Ltd. Renusagar, Sonebhadra (UP) for 6 months.
