Job Responsibilities:

> Welding Related Inspection

> Welder Performance Qualification as per WPS and different destructive

testing activities at lab, verification of incoming material and

consumables with respect to test certificate and inspection test plan.

Pre welding inspections, such as dimensional check, fit-up and weld

joint preparation.

> Verification of in process welding compliance with approved WPS/PQR

with respect to applicable Codes & Standards. Inspect piping before

erection

> Inspection of fabricated items as per approved drawing, monitoring pre

& post heat treatment, assessment of NDT and welding reports, and

preparation of inspection reports.

> Monitoring of welding consumables, Preheating, Welding and weld visual

inspection, PWHT/NDT, Hardness Test, PMI Test as per the WPS, ITP.

> Verify proper size and schedule of Equipments and related piping,

rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.

> Confirm periodical calibration of certificate for field equipment's

such as welding machine oven & quivers.

> Inspection at vender premises for various equipment including visual

inspection of pipe spool, equipment.

> Issue of non -conformance report and ensure that corrective action

taken

> To perform line checking and prepare punch list and verify all items

are in place and act as an agent for company during punch list

activity

> Coordination with Third Party Inspectors/PMC for inspection

activities.

> Package review and witness of hydro, pneumatic and service leak

testing

> Material receiving inspection based on mill test report delivered

material from vendor/supplier.

> Review the projects specification, quality assurance procedures,

quality manuals and method statements.

> Refer the standards and international standards like ASME B 31.3, ASME

SEC IX,ASME SECII.

> Review and accept the quality documents inspection record NDT records.

> Verify the reinstatement of the system for mechanical completion.

> Took Part in QA/QC meetings and discussing quality issues and NCR.

> Coordination with internal and external audit requirements.

> Walk through inspection of new facilities to be turn over.
