Description
Subnet Manager is the major application under the Logical Provisioning System, for Verizon Business. The
system provisions switches and routers so as to allocate an optimal bandwidth to the Customers. The system
interacts with the Verizon Network, and gathers information any new Switch or Router, into its database. The system
then performs a series of calculation to determine if a port is free and how much bandwidth can be allocated for a
particular customer. The system has been developed using C++ and Java technologies with Oracle as the
Database.
Responsibilities
Involved in analysis, design, coding, code reviews and maintenance for server side implementation.
Designed solutions for each Ethernet project listed below using high level design document that includes,
system flow, interface impacts, database impacts and any GUI mock up screens.
Developed Client/Server components Web services, ejb and Corba to interact with different Systems using
java and C++.
Designed and Developed pipeline framework to trigger lot of network inventory creation actions in specific
sequence using Java and webservices.
Implemented openssl encryption techniques to encrypt/decrypt data from files that contains sensitive data in
C++ applications

Description
This is an inventory system which maintains information of all provisioned and activated circuits. Will maintain
circuits running in different architectures like TLS, ATM/Frame, IP-VPN, etc. In case of any outage this system is
responsible in generating reports based on SLA and provide data for billing systems.
Responsibilities
Extensively involved in design of Inventory system and its interfacing systems.
Developed C++ CORBA client/servers applications to handle order processing.
Developed Perl scripts for database migrations.
Developed Shell Scripts as wrappers for cron scheduling and server bindings with naming.
