The merit of my career in the development and construction of Petroleum/Crude/Natural Gas/ Water
pipelines and telecommunication networks is versatility. I have been involved with major projects
involving city, railroad, and government agencies. I have also managed projects, people, and money. My

Nature of work- Inspect the new Construction/Build and Implementation of Broadband Infrastructure
throughout California to the Nevada Border.
My responsibilities as an Inspector for this project were as follows..
Assured Safety, Environmental, and Regulatory compliance.
Monitored daily construction activities, Provided direction to field personnel and contractors, Observed
& Inspected all work performed by the contractors and crews, over bore rigs, trenching crews, fiber
blowing, setting hand holes, staking right of way, verifying depths and off sets, making sure bottom of
trench was clear of rocks or other hard objects that might damage the fiber conduit. Provide as-builds
documentation, Advise supervisor regarding corrections to be made.
Performed ROW patrols to ensure safety and no unexpected work along the route.
Linder Lake INC August 2012 to February 2013
Contracted out to Century Link/Qwest Fiber optics as an Inspector on a 13 mile project from Roseville,
CA. to Sacramento, CA Responsibilities were to inspect directional and rock borings to install fiber ducts.
Took off-sets and drew up red-lines for as-builds. I was responsible for the pulling of the fiber cable for
the 13 mile route making sure the measurements and billing of hours was correct. Safety being the
number one goal. Also responsible for USA One call tickets and standby inspections ensuring no damage
would be done to the utility from San Francisco to Palo Alto, CA.
Koch Pipeline INC Inspector/Locator September 2011 to July 2012
My responsibilities as a Pipe Line Inspector/Tech were as follows..
I was Responsible for the inspection of construction and maintenance projects according to
Technical Guidelines and applicable regulations, Project Manager <PM> of repairing of pipeline
maintenance projects in the Northern MN area.
Responsible for adhering to safety guidelines and standards and for following safety rules and
regulations to promote a positive safety culture. Codes 49 CFR, DOT 192 & 195
Responsible for adhering to environmental standards and for environmental awareness.
Responsible for cost control of projects in area of responsibility.
I made responsible decisions in the field for the required work to be accomplished.
Ensure no leaks, spills or releases of product. Safety is the number one priority at all times!
Performed operations/maintenance relief duties on a 24 hour/ 7 Day call out basis when needed.
I also was responsible of reading and understanding line/station gate valve maps, flow diagrams,
and alignment drawings. Located company pipelines including probing, marking, mapping, and
flagging company pipelines and assets. Performed duties associated with One Call, USA tickets,
Blue Stakes, pipeline response system. Coordinated with third party and company personnel for
excavations, crossings, and digs of company pipelines. Performed valve inspections and
documentation to ensure safe & proper operation.
Inspect pipeline projects<Natural gas and Crude oil>, making sure pipe was in good condition and
coating was up to code on the pipe, I was involved with mechanical particle testing of exposed portions of
the pipeline and mapping and measurement of metal loss on the system. Also involved with electronic
inspections by using x-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic particle inspection methods, aka, PIGS<Pipeline
inspections gauges> Enforced the hand digging within 2 ft of the pipeline
Inspect Tank projects, cleaning/sandblasting/painting, making sure all welds were in good condition.
EH&S safety person during projects making sure all permits and safety guidelines were followed! EH&S
safety lead during projects, making sure all safety guidelines were followed and all work completed
according to safety and timelines. Managed a five man construction crew and equipment while overseeing
project. Ensured that all safety guidelines and regulations were maintained at the site.
Monitored the trenches, Excavation and backfilling for the pipeline work using various instruments
Right Of Way Inspections conducted on a weekly time table. Safety, Safety and communication were one
of the most important keys to success.

KINDER MORGAN, INC June 2005 to August 2011 – from Concord CA. to all of the East Bay & Bay
area. Line Rider/Inspector/Tech
Responsibilities as a Line Rider/Tech were – making sure the high pressure petroleum pipe was in good
operating condition, and up to code, making sure coating was in good condition, and was up to code on
the pipe, I was involved with mechanical particle testing of exposed portions of the pipeline and mapping

welds were in good condition and all guidelines were followed.
EH&S safety LEAD responsible for up to 10 contractors during projects, making sure all safety
guidelines were followed and all work completed according to safety! Pull USA/One Call tickets, clear
as no conflict, or mark out as locate. Then locate, mark, flag, take pictures and complete all documents
standby/inspect contractors digging within 10 feet or less of the pipe line. Scheduling of contractors to
inspect work projects when Kinder Morgan's pipe lines that are in conflict, and at all times making sure
that the Kinder Morgan pipe lines are protected, while enforcing the 2 foot “HAND DIG ONLY” rule
.Conducted regular inspections of the trenches/Right of Way’s <Route Patrol> to ensure that there were
no obstacles, anomalies, Leaks or Spills. Collaborating with Government, State, County, and City
Officials to determine proper alignments, and to resolve conflicts while meeting construction deadlines.
Project Management of ongoing construction projects involving work near Kinder Morgan gas pipe
lines, as well as constant route patrol on approximately fourteen pipe lines for the Kinder Morgan right of
way by automobile and aircraft. Constantly checking the computer for dig tickets, internal
communications, and whereabouts of conflicts. Documentation and inspection of the construction of pipe
lines making sure that they were laid at a correct depth and cover per DOT (Department of
Transportation) regulations and state laws, 49 CFR, DOT 192 & DOT 195 and all safety rules and laws
were followed.
LINDERLAKE CORPORATION
Contractor
Level 3 Communications from December 2004 to June 2005 in Salt Lake City Utah to the borders of
Nevada, Wyoming, and Idaho.
Responsibilities were – to run three separate Level 3 routes, pull Blue Stake tickets, standby and inspect
areas of conflicts, route patrol, and inspect and perform pre-maintenance tasks along with High Security
Surveillance of isolated regent sites. As well as marking out intercepting points of fiber optics for future
Department of Defense (D.O.D) lateral fiber optic lines going into Hill Air Force Base, located in Ogden
Utah. Overall duties and responsibilities of a Tech 5.
INTERNATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT/ON-SIGHT CONSULTANTS
Contractor
QWEST Communications from August 2002 to December 2004 from Chico to Gilroy, California.
Responsibilities were – to pull USA tickets and mark out areas of conflict, stand-by and inspect. Involved
with relocating and checking valves and welds for leaks on high-pressure gas lines. If USA location is of
conflict, ENFORCE the two foot rule for digging with equipment, otherwise must HAND DIG ONLY.
Managed and patrolled the route for eight different fiber optic locations throughout the San Francisco Bay
area while keeping the USA tickets cleared and up to date. Met with with city officials to discuss
permitting issues and running lines on new projects, and red lined of as-builds after relocation of fiber.
Worked on maintenance issues inside of Pop-sites, and with the OTDR, when there was a problem in the
fiber line to determine the location.
KIEWIT PACIFIC COMPANY June 2001 to August 2002 as a Lead Project Inspector in Santa
Barbara, CA. (Contractor)
Responsibilities included – drawing of as-builds on Level 3 bores, start to finish, Bore profiles, daily
quality control reports, proofing of Level 3 ducts, inspecting welds on steel casing per Level 3’s plans,
inspecting, and the pulling of Level 3 fiber optic cable through the duct system. DESIGNATED SAFETY
ENFORCER – Enforced the Level 3 fiber optic program, ZERO TOLERANCE SAFETY RULES.
Trained employees in the HAZARD ANALYSIS RULES AND REGULATIONS through Kiewit
Pacific/Level 3 long haul. Supervised six inspectors which included scheduling hours, assigning jobs and
tasks, and making sure projects were completed with no problems.
International Telecommunications Consultants from December 1998 to June 2001 as a Lead
Inspector/Locator in Sacramento California.
Responsibilities were – daily personnel management of teams providing network protection to QWEST
Communications. Which included supervision of seven locator crews in the plowing, boring, trenching,
hand/manhole placement, and fiber duct-proofing activities for projects throughout the Bay Area as well
as installation of Level 3 fiber optics for Kiewit Long Haul from San Jose to Sacramento. Met deadlines
and budget constraints, scheduled hours, assigned jobs and tasks, and performed inspections. Served as a
liaison, working with (a) state, county, and city officials to determine proper alignments and resolve
conflicts; and (b) various contractors to meet construction deadlines while protecting and making sure
there is no damage to the underground fiber optics and Pop sights of our client. Equipment utilized in the
detection of fiber, and locating hand/manholes were the RD400, the Metro Tech900 and Hand
Hole/Manhole Locators

Complus (Contractor) February 1997 to December 1998 as a Field Engineer in Sacramento, California.
Responsibilities were - designed proposed routes and overseeing of directional boring crews for
installation of fiber optics, electrical, gas, telephone, Cable TV, water, storms, sanitary sewer, and placing
underground utility conduits throughout the State of Oregon by working exclusively for Williams
Communications . In the preparation of initial and final as-built drawings, primary responsibilities
included topographical land survey, drafting, and mechanical drawing. During the installation phase, field
duties encompassed site determination, operation of locator equipment and supervision of directional
boring crews in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Complus (Contractor) February 1993 to June 1997 as a Class 1 Inspector/Engineer in Sacramento,
California.
Responsibilities were – accurate placement and proper installation of fiber optics from Sacramento to the
California/Oregon border, using public right-of-ways in determining routes for Worldwide Fiber. Job
entailed as-built documentation, daily production activity, coordinating work and ensuring safety
precautions between client and contractors, and providing overall field supervision of all construction
methods. From 1994 to June 1997 during this time I was a Project Manager/Lead of a 6 man Construction
crew while placing of the Fiber Optic Conduits making sure all plans/prints were followed.
