PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Over 22 years experience in leadership and management at various levels within the United States Army.
A wide ranging career that includes extensive logistical, operational, and human resource management
experience and culminating as the Active Army advisor to the Adjutant General of the Michigan National
Guard. Highlights include:
• Directed the staff of a logistics organization of 1050 personnel in day to day operations and
served as the Deputy Commander.
• Planned all logistical support (food service, fuel, maintenance, medical, supply, transportation)
for an organization of 5,500 personnel as the lead planner.
• Commanded a multi-functional logistics company of 182 personnel providing food service, fuel,
maintenance, supply, and transportation to an organization of 550 personnel, 61 armored combat
vehicles, and 135 wheeled vehicles.
• Managed an electronic and communications equipment repair shop consisting of 50 personnel to
support equipment from a customer base of 15,000 personnel. Through an innovative initiative
saved the organization over $300,000 a month.
EXPERIENCE
Senior Army Advisor to the Adjutant General (Major General Greg Vadnais), First Army, US Army
July 2012 – Present
• Advised the Adjutant General and other Michigan Guard leaders during all meetings on issues
relating to the Active Army.
• Provided consultant services to the Michigan Army National on techniques for leader
development, talent management, and personnel and unit training.
• President of the board and subject matter expert for promotion, retention, and termination of
Michigan Army National Guard Officers.
Professor of Military Science, Lock Haven University Army ROTC Battalion, US Army
June 2009 – July 2012
• Director of the Department of Military Science at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
• Taught or supervised all classes conducted by the department focused on leadership development.
• Recruited, interviewed, selected, and retained only the best college students for the ROTC
program resulting in a 250% increase in graduates from the program.

Support Operations Officer, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, US Army
June 2006 – June 2007
• Planned all logistical support (maintenance, supply, transportation and medical) for a 5,500
personnel organization while deployed to combat operations in Iraq. Maintained the customer
relationship between the logistics battalion and the customer battalions.
• Planned, coordinated, and supervised the re-deployment of 5,500 personnel and tons of
equipment from Iraq to Texas as well as the reintegration of all personnel and equipment.
Executive Officer, 4th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, US Army
April 2005 – June 2006
• Developed and trained the 35 members of the staff in preparation for deployment to Iraq.
• Managed the organizational staff as they monitored and controlled the daily operations of the
battalion while deployed to combat operations in Iraq.
• Served as the Deputy Commander of the 1050 personnel organization.

July 1993 – April 2005
• Planned, coordinated, and supervised logistical support for both stateside and on the Arabian
Peninsula during combat operations, for an organization of over 1000 personnel.
• Commanded a 182 soldier company in providing all logistical support to a 550 soldier tank
battalion, to include maintenance, supply, and transportation. Primary talent manager of the
organization to include conflict mediation, EEO, retention, promotion, and termination.
