Systems Installation/Construction
. Major projects include a 30,000 square foot cGMP commercial
manufacturing facility and a 145,000 square foot combination corporate
headquarters, clinical manufacturing and research laboratory building.
. Supervised the installation, startup and commissioning of a two stage
pneumatically controlled steam pressure station providing 32,000
lbs/hour medium pressure steam to a multistory research building.
. Directed the engineering, purchasing and installation, start up and
commissioning of all major MEP equipment for several research
laboratory projects including a 500,000 square foot combination
research laboratory and corporate headquarters building.
. Coordinated the engineering, purchasing and construction of campus
infrastructure utilities to support the expansion of a large
university teaching and research complex and several large scale
senior living facilities,
. Consultant to the Process Engineering Department during the
construction, installation, commissioning and validation phases of a
$80MM biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
. Developed and executed the start-up plan and schedule for all process
and utility equipment for a $89MM public wastewater treatment project.
. Designed and installed several automated production skids and clean
utility systems improvements that resulted in a significant increase
in personnel safety and reduced manufacturing expenses.
. Managed the installation, startup and commissioning of repairs to the
steam distribution and condensate piping system for a 160,000 lbs/hour
high pressure steam system on a large research campus.
FDA GMP Audits and Programs
. Maintained and supported MEP systems for FDA cGMP compliant
commercial, clinical manufacturing and development laboratory
facilities.
1. Successfully completed an FDA Pre Approval Inspection (PAI) and a
European GMP audit for a commercial manufacturing facility.
. Implemented calibration and preventative maintenance scheduling and
tracking functions for FDA cGMP compliant commercial and clinical
