Implemented records management policies such as file plans and retention schedules. I assign

bar coded SDMS (Super Fund Document Management System) document identification numbers

to each document, this is done electronically. Maintained the OSRTI Management Records

Spread Sheet. Prepared records to be sent to the Federal Records Center (FRC) to be stored

and would perform Phase I or equivalent indexing only for electronic records and developmental

Meta pages, (document components and relationships) for each document. Performed Phase II

indexing from the images (PDF’s). Update archive tracking system. I index documents according

to the procedures outlined in the SDMS Standard Operating Procedures (SDMS-SOP), capturing

data as required to fill in each indexing field in SDMS, although even full indexing of this type will,

95% of the time, be for 5 - 8 fields rather than the nearly 30 documents in SDMS. I accomplished

indexing using the document images whenever possible. When the phrase “Phase 1 indexing or

equivalent” is used in this Task Order or deliverable, it is always refers to the fact that additional

indexing profiles will be developed according to the natures of the documents / collections being

characterized by indices. In nearly every imaginable case these indices I either use a subset of

the SDMS master index or a reduced set of fields that is for me to determine. I fully index and

QA/QC documents within 10 working days of scanning (paper) or migration

(digital/electronic/converted images) into SDMS.I perform Phase 2 indexing on documents

scanned to the document-level equivalent of 45,000 pages per month. When applicable,

document relationships shall be depicted using the Metapage creation utility in SDMS.

completing SF 135’s. Notified EPA employees what constitutes a record and what is suitable to be
