Specialist for Operators since 2010. I am presently working in Vietnam and have worked

in South East Asia, the Middle East, West Africa and various other countries in my 20+

years of working internationally.

I have extensive Deep Water, High Temperature, Horizontal / Extended reach and

Cementing experience. I am very adept in working remote locations with minimal

supervision and have held various Management positions. I am experienced in all types

of Water / Oil / Synthetic based Drilling Fluids & Products, as well as Cementing, Waste

management processes and equipment including Solids Control, Water Treatment,

Cuttings processing & Re-injection in addition to Liquid Bulk plant construction,

supervision and maintenance. I have worked land ops for +16 years and offshore for 18+

years.

2010-2013 Premier Oil Vietnam Offshore – Operator Fluids Specialist.

May - Feb Assisted in seeing reduced well costs over life of project. Evaluated

and eliminated unnecessary products from proposed system. Chim Sao

Project, ERD. Drilled 17 well platform with BHT up to 1650C. Utilized

Sodium Formate RDIF fluid and UltraDrill fluid. Monitored onsite

engineers, lab tested and monitored product quality, trouble shot

various fluid related problems. Produced detailed well recaps, cost

analysis and interval reports. Wells- S-16P, N-4I, N-1P, N-2P, N-3P, N-

17XP, S-6P, S-7P, S-8P & S-9P, S-10P, S-11P, S-12I, S-13I, S-4I & S-

2008-2010 MI Qatar – Senior Lead Fluids Engineer (Consultant) – Maersk Al

Shaheen Gas project. Drilled +10,000m Horizontal and Multi Lateral

wells. Drilled the worlds longest horizontal section at the time

10,515m. H2S environment.

Water wells 900-2800m water depth. British Gas India. Lead

BP Kapok project Trinidad using Faze Pro (Reversible Oil to Water wet

2000-2002 FLUID TECHNOLOGY WORLDWIDE Inc. Country Manager –

Cuba. Set up Company infrastructure from inception. Developed

Fluids Programs. Oversaw Inventory control and Product Introduction.

Oversaw Tendering (won 2002 tender for 12 more wells with Cuba

National Petroleum)

Developed new business with French Operator (Peberco).

Supervised 8 National Mud Engineers on 3 rigs, Warehousing and

Inventory control. Dewatering systems. Highlights: Implemented

changes to achieve 40% reduction in well cost in Varadero and Boca

Juraco fields.

1990-2000 BAKER HUGHES INTEQ, Houston International Rotator Pool.

Operations Manager – Warri, Nigeria. Fluids Coordinator –

Nigeria; India; Yemen. Managed Warri office with 3 rigs, warehousing,

inventory, logistics, product introduction & testing, mud programs,

constructed a 4000 bbl mud plant. Supervised 8 engineers and 15 other

staff. Tender preparation & execution.

Worked on projects in Yemen, Qatar, China, Indonesia, India, Pakistan,

Nigeria, Congo, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Columbia. Deep

Water- 19 wells in Angola, Nigeria, Gabon, Congo, Eq Guinea, China.

HPHT- China(1790), Indonesia(1810). Extended Reach- India (H2S),

Nigeria, Indonesia, Equitorial Guinea. Air Drilling- Yemen (H2S),

Pakistan (H2S). Highlights: Drilled Membede 1 Agips first horizontal

well in Nigeria.

Responsible for Sales, Logistics, Warehousing, Well Cost analysis,

Programs, Tenders, Product Introduction. Testing and Supervision of

field drilling fluids (mud) engineers.

Highlights: Implemented 20-40% reduction in well cost in Poui field.

Implemented first successful use of Oil soluble resins in Amoco

Trinidad.
