OBJECTIVES

I am trusted, patient focused and experienced surgeon with more than

seven years history of serving patients by successfully diagnosing,

treating and managing their diseases. Besides being comfortable

doing all major and minor open surgical procedures, I have special

interest in Laparoscopic and Hepatobilliary Surgeries. I am looking

WORK EXPERIENCE and Personal Summary

I worked as a postgraduate trainee in Shifa International Hospital,

Islamabad. I was involved in pre-operative and post-operative care of

our patients. My job required a good knowledge of basic sciences, an

up to date clinical knowledge, surgical judgment and technical skills.

I worked in rotations in OR, OPD, Wards and ER. I also had advantage

of working in Laparoscopic Unit of the hospital where I had special

training in minimally invasive surgeries.

As a part of the training, I completed rotations in Orthopedics,

Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery and Surgical ICU. As a Senior Resident,

I was involved in carrying out Basic surgical procedures independently

and many major surgical procedures under supervision. Teaching Medical

students and junior colleagues was also part of my responsibilities. I

was also involved in multidisciplinary meetings, Audits, grand rounds

and conferences.

After completing my fellowship training, I joined Surgical ICU of

Shifa international Hospital as Senior Medical Officer. I was

responsible for all ICU patients. I performed Chest intubations, CVP

lines and CPR during my stay in ICU. After three months, I joined

Liver Transplant Department of Shifa International hospital which is

the only Living Donor Liver Transplant center in Pakistan. During this

time I had chance of assisting Liver transplants and many major

advanced Hepatobilliary surgeries. I was also involved in managing

patients in ICU after Liver Transplant and major surgeries.
