I am a well rounded developer with professional presentation and outstanding communication skills, complemented by a
background in diverse industries including financial, telecom, oil and gas, public utility, medical, and manufacturing.
I received training in Powerbuilder and object oriented development methodologies in 1993 and since then I have been
working with all versions of Powerbuilder (versions 2 through 12.5) constantly and extensively.
I bring extensive experience as a software developer with the last 21 years developing client/server applications in a senior
role as technical lead, primarily using Powerbuilder with Sybase, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases, making
extensive use of stored procedures and triggers.

Pipeline Management System (Pinnacle). Integrys Energy Group, Inc. is a diversified energy holding company with
regulated natural gas and electric utility operations (serving customers in Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Provided solutions utilizing Powerbuilder 12.5 with PFC, and Informix 9 in processes for Workman’s Compensation within
the Imaging system.

Light Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Responsible for transforming two mission critical Powerbuilder 12.5 applications to acquire data from the Oracle database
utilizing Web Service Proxies, that previously used SQL to interface information from Oracle’s web based Customer Care
and Billing ERP (CC&B) to Duquesne’s Customer Complaint and Smart Comfort applications.

Reporting directly to the chief executive, responsible for implementation of a Billing system developed with Powerbuilder
11.5 utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Coordinate the creation and configuration of a cloud for application, database,
file, and WEB servers for the billing system. Configure the system for EDI interfaces at banks, credit card processors, the
electric grid, and others. Assist with data migration from the legacy billing system to the new billing system.

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, The Woodlands, Texas
Converted the Chain of Title application from Powerbuilder 8 to Powerbuilder 12 and converted to access Oracle 11g from
Oracle 8i; and converted to access Sybase SQL Anywhere 11 from Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere 6.0. Responsible
for addressing about five years’ worth of enhancements and modifications backlog. The Chain of Title application is the
application Anadarko utilizes to manage their Oil and Gas leases.

Responsible for providing application development and support for the Structured Analytical Model application used to
manage the banks CDO’S, primarily utilizing Powerbuilder 11 and Oracle databases on this PFC based application for the
CDO technology department of the bank. Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO’s) this bank manages exceed 13 trillion
dollars and represent in excess of 50% market share of securitized CDO’s worldwide.

Responsible for providing assistance in eliminating a database providing a repository of common data from various
Microsoft SQL Server databases to various applications and tools. The references to this data were modified to reference

Responsible for converting six large Powerbuilder applications from versions ranging as far back as 5.0 to Powerbuilder
10.0. Provided a code review and audit of each of the applications to ensure best practices were utilized and to eliminate

Responsible for providing extensive modifications and enhancements to the Loan Remittance Processing System using

Sybase 11 with Open Client to remediate them for Y2k compliance. Authored the “White Paper” for Amoco that
documented the issues and outlined the necessary actions required for migrating applications from Powerbuilder 3.0a (16
bit) using Sybase 4.9, to Powerbuilder 6.5 (32 bit) using Sybase 11 with Open Client.

ORACLE 7.3. Project required complex stored procedures and triggers. These were originally written as a package on
ORACLE, and later converted to run on SYBASE System 10.

Senior technical consultant to provide POWERBUILDER knowledge transfer to other consultants and staff personnel.
Project consisted of developing a "Worldwide Reserves Inventory System" using POWERBUILDER 3 and SYBASE for
deployment on UNIX servers accessed by TCP/IP. The system operates on a worldwide WAN across 5 continents.
Senior Systems Analyst 11/1988 5/1994
Central Power & Light Company, Corpus Christi, Texas
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing computer systems for WINDOWS based CLIENT/SERVER and
large IBM mainframe applications. Primary areas of responsibility were with financial applications. Participated in a project
to evaluate, select, and validate, a suite of tools that would become the standard used for developing CLIENT/SERVER
applications within Central Power & Light and its parent company, Central and Southwest. Used Texas Instruments’ IEF
(Information Expert Facility a CASE tool for developing DB2 database systems on IBM mainframes) to develop
Business Rules, a system which maintains a repository of information containing what previously were "hard coded"
values in application programs.
