Reservoir Development Supervisor, Bosc n field (on shore - Heavy Oil)

Reporting direct to Reservoir Manager. Responsibilities:

EOR supervisor. Stimulations. WSO. Inner Liner. Fishing. Cleanings. Coiled

tubing. Contribute with look-backs and technical support peer review of

projects. Complete interaction with business units and functional teams,

provide support, review and recommendations. Lead reserves project for

Campo Boscan (33 MM bn, 115 bopd, heavy oil with water injection, 480

wells): Acquire updated volumetric, perform exponential decline curve

analysis (by well & flowstation) using different methods: rate vs time,

average BPD/time vs well, rate vs Cum, WOR vs Cum. OOIP calculation.

Production forecasting (base + new drills), provide ranges of oil/water

requested forecasting. Perform surveillance of assigned area, 10 flow

stations (100 wells). Identify candidates to drill, evaluating areas by

analogs, perform economic evaluations by well, patterns & projects, run

deterministic and probabilistic economic evaluations, develop drilling

proposals for new wells, technical reports to get official approvals.

Surveillance for waterflooding project in heavy oil reservoir. Participate

in subsurface technical reviews. Prepare Authorizations for expenditure.

Wells review to identify candidates (production wells & water injectors

wells), and review wells performs as a part of a business plan and

optimization process. Take initiative on optimization jobs, reactivations

jobs, replacements candidates and new technologies. Lead new wells

processes, with a cross functional team (drilling, facilities, environment,

permissions). Official reports for completions, well producers and

injectors. Provide Reservoir engineering support to projects lead by other

departments. Mentor fellow employees in economic analysis, and general

reservoir engineering skills as needed. Person in charge for Audit

processes in Reservoir department like well abandonments, reserves, data

management for accounting, marketing, internal and external financial

auditors, operations, management and partners. Coordinator of a new wells

multidisciplinary team (drilling, completion, G&G, reservoir, facilities,

legal, operations and production) to have timely, safety and efficiently

all activities related to drilling new wells; including calculation of IP

and reserves through authorizations of expeditures, legal permissions

(environment and oil), construction of the locations, well programs and

logistics for drilling (including availability of contracts and equipment)

drilling and completion, even begin the production from each well. Review

decisions as new completion technologies, alternatives to improve Sand

control performance, WSO placement, acid stimulation candidate selection,

to optimize well flow performance and optimize production / injection.

Track all drilling projects and prepare summaries of impact in the

production and reserves addition. Perform post-jobs analyses (look backs),

capture lessons learned, share best practices observed. Report post job

operations and results/analysis (operational and financial). Coordinate

review process: comparison of pre-drill vs. post-drill projections for

investment, reserves production, drilling and completion process and return

capital. Perform operations and design safely and following HES policies

and regulations. Daily well monitored for drilling / completions

activities. Major Rig Workover key member as a reservoir group responsible

of evaluating candidates selection, job planning, decision analysis,

economic evaluations.

Environmental leader for two fields: Boscan Field (Onshore) 800 wells, 23

flowstation, 1 rig and 2 workovers, and LL-652 field (Offshore) 300 wells,

1 production platform, 1 gas compression platform, 1 water injection

platform. Supervision of personnel (5 people). Design, logistics and

implementation of environmental monitoring programs: surface water,

groundwater, air quality, clean water, reserve pits, soils, effluent.

Monitoring environmental monitoring plans. Inventory of environmental

liabilities. Evaluations contractors. Coordination and logistics management

and disposal of hazardous wastes. Monitoring and control of budget.

Monitoring compliance with current Venezuelan legislation. Support

department as drilling, facilities, operations, maintenance, routine

activities to meet Venezuelan environmental laws, international regulations

and standards of the corporation. Member of research teams. Development and
