I n my years with Kienna I was a major part of the growth in the single cup
pod component of their business along with attracting new P rivate label,
W holesale, Food Service accounts and developing a strong Retail market. My
contributions in the development of the Kienna Cup Adapter(2011) for use in
t he Keurig Brewing systems was instrumental in doubling our pod sales over
t he next 2 years. I launched over 200 new retail positions for our pods and
h andled t raining and development of independent reps for Eastern Canada,
O ntario & Q uebec.

I t ook my vision for a upscale Coffee house from an empty retail space to a
f ully functioning business with great feel, finish & function. The business
g rew and thrived in a high end residential community of Calgary. Our goal
w as to develop a comfortable place for the residents to meet & enjoy great
Coffee food and wine with great atmosphere. These goals were accomplished
a nd we grew nicely into a regular stop for morning coffee and Pizza & wine
i n the evening. I sold the business in August of 2008 and am pleased to say
t hat it is still serving the community to this day.

T hrough my work with Cafe Classics I established relationships with more
f ine dining and Food & Beverage operations. I networked with Chefs
t hrough the CFCC ( Calgary Federation of Chefs & Cooks) and sat on the
board as an Associate Supplier Member. I ran all aspects of the business for
C afe Classics from my home based office. I inventoried product, I nstalled
a nd maintained brewers and equipment. I grew new business and
m aintained all existing customer base.

Working with the Ter r itory of Western Canada, I called on Vending & Office
Coffee Supply companies throughout the region. Working closely with
our distributor Can West Vending in Edmonton, I impacted the market with
a concerted relationship selling process along with timely contact. My skills
i n providing t raining and troubleshooting on equipment was instrumental in
solidifying sales growth with Vending operators that recognized the value I
b rought to the table.

A t Rona I was positioned to develop the sales within the Kitchen and Bath
D epartment. I worked with the associates on a follow up program that made
sure we were getting the best results from the design efforts. Using AutoCAD
p rograms and custom cabinet software, I was able to increase the
closure rates by over 75% in the fi rst year.
