of a 1.5 kW vertical axis wind turbine.

Upgraded and maintained cement manufacturing facility as part of a

comprehensive modernization project (Allen Bradley PLC580E, RSLogix5,

Commissioned numerous Variable Frequency Drives 5 to 1000 horsepower

(Robicon, Allen Bradley, ABB, Polyspede)

Schenk VFD weigh-feeding systems, Teledyne flue gas analyzers,

sensors, infrared imaging systems and 4-20ma control circuitry.

Wrote technical manuals and troubleshooting procedures for complex

systems.

Pioneered the use of V/H variable frequency drives in constant torque

applications, a development later used company and industry wide.

Capital projects including specification, acquisition, planning,

implementation and evaluation.

Military Service

US Army - Missile Systems Repair - Maintained and repaired aircraft guided

missile systems on the Bell AH-1S attack helicopter including component

level repair of guidance control systems, optical sights and fire control

systems. At the end of my tour I worked for 7 months at the Bell

Helicopter/Textron complex in Amarillo, TX on the OH 58D observation

helicopter project upgrading OH58C aircraft to D specifications with

advanced infrared and visual imaging systems, avionics and fire control.
