Vendor Risk Management Analyst
As a Vendor Risk Management Analyst, it was important to document every location where
the vendor was doing work for State Farm and how the work was being performed.
Documented data sent or stored at offsite or offshore locations. Any location working with
data that was considered Non -Public Information (“NPI”), such as Social Security Number, had
to get the approval of upper leadership. Canadian work being done off site or offshore had to
get approval from a special Canadian committee of leaders as well. Trade -secret information
(new coverages, for example) required the approval of senior leadership.
