PROJECT TITLE:-

> National Lake Conservation plan for Udaipur Rajasthan Lakes under

Ministry of Environment and forest.

> Dhobi Ghat Sudhar Yojna for Delhi under YAP-11

Under Yamuna Action plan phase- II, MCD as a project Implementing

Agency has Appointed Tetra Tech India Ltd. To conduct the study and

developing Master plan for the Environmental and social improvement of

Dhobi Ghats in Delhi

JOB RESPONSBLITY:-

Under this project are as following:

> To study the stakeholders of Dhobi Ghats, socio-

demographic, cultural and economic profile

> Identify the stake holders, (primary stakeholders-Dhobi,

secondary stakeholders

> Clienteles" outlook about Quality of services from Dhobi

including, demands for quality services, and paying

capacity etc)

> Clienteles of Dhobi, middle men, etc), Dhobi Association

(Dhobi Ekta Samiti, Dhobi Sabha) and

organizations/ NGOs working on issue related to Dhobi.

> Different measures undertaken by appropriates for

improvement of Dhobi Ghats.

> Type of Dirty clothes/ clothes for Laundry and washing

practices

> Occupational health hazard (washing practices, disease

pattern caused due to washing Infections etc.)

> Waste water and solid waste generation and disposals

> Awareness level of dhobi community and other stakeholders

about water pollution at Dhobi ghats due washing

activities, and how it affects river Yamuna.

> Economics of washing Activities (cost incurred -

transportation, washing aid labor, Ancillary

charges and income generated - net profit.

> Scope for improvement (including resettlements

Rehabilitations if needed)

In addition, his responsibility included documentation, reporting and

coordination with the project implementation team. Other than this he

has cooperated in analysis of data and monthly progress reports and

situation analysis report preparation.

> B.S.W. (Bachelor of Social Work) from IGNOU, Study Centre - Jamia

Millia Islamia, New Delhi, 2008

> 12th passed from B.I.E.C Patna in year 2003

> 10th passed from B.S.E.B, Patna in year 2001

> Complete knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point,

Internet also.)
