Duties and Responsibilities:
• Initiate, develop and implement innovative ideas that will lead to packaging improvement
and cost savings opportunities to the business, improves sustainability and help to minimize
investment.
• Responsible in developing Packaging materials for every new initiative for the company.
Independently lead packaging development initiatives from concept and transfer technology
to supply chain group via leading the Commissioning and Qualification for
commercialization of new product introduction and existing products which include
packaging design and performance enhancement.
• Responsible for delivering Cost saving project in any Packaging materials that we are
using.
• Maintaining and developing new packaging format to be able to run in the manufacturing
smoothly.

• Responsible for identifying, defining and addressing technical packaging challenges.
• Provide on-going technical support and expertise to the plant and third party manufacturing
on packaging quality, manufacturing problems, improve plant capacity and efficiency.
• Work with global packaging counterparts and collaboration with suppliers to identify new
technology opportunities and leverage supplier resources and tools.
• Generate relevant patents to provide competitive advantage on key packaging initiatives.
• Coordinate and conduct functional testing including lab testing, plant trial, package
component qualification, and other evaluation to ensure performance validation of
packaging structure and/or packaging design.
• Qualify and recommend supplier in support of cost saving and technology capability efforts.

Orient Press Inc.- India, Printwell Inc, Flexibles Packaging, UGEC Packging, Papercon,
Malinta Packaging.
• Work in partnership with purchasing and production department to determine cost and
feasibility of producing proposed packaging.
• Develop and update packaging specification and other technical documents to ensure
quality materials and cost effective packaging components used at the plant and third party
manufacturers.
• Continuously evaluate new packaging materials and packaging systems for application to
company products both current and future, and make recommendations to the business for
appropriate changes.
• Responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets and expenditures of projects handled.
Responsible for the maintenance of the packaging lab and equipment.
