EXPERIENCE

Pharmacy technician ii, cvs/caremark July 2013 - december 2014

My role as a certified pharmacy technician is to work directly with medical offices to resolve issues with

patient medications. I ensure that patients are dispensed the proper medication at the time they request as

well as assist them with medication practices. I also translate prescriptions to be filled at mail-order

pharmacies and processed billing requests. I assisted in bridging the gap between pharmacies and

healthcare offices to ensure the patient has the most direct and efficient healthcare.

Pharmacy technician, pharmerica February 2011 - July 2013

My role as a certified pharmacy technician was to evaluate, translate and dispense patient prescriptions

(filling as well as pre/blister packing). I also prepared various IV admixtures as well as a diverse amount

of other compounds. Another role I led was to prepare emergency kits for assisted living facilities as

well as maintain relations with their directors. I worked directly with nurses as well as physicians to

resolve issues with patient’s prescriptions and medical equipment. I ensured that a patient receives their

medications in a timely manner and ensure their satisfaction. Also, I helped ensure pharmacy guidelines

as well as HIPAA law are followed.
