As production manager, my duties included writing damage appraisals on collision damaged vehicles and scheduling
work for the frame repair, body repair and paint technicians. I was responsible for procuring parts and materials needed
for the repairs as well as scheduling sublet repairs. I worked with the vehicle owner and the insurance company that was
covering the repair cost throughout the repair process.
I was responsible for generating work orders for the technicians and ensuring they had an understanding of what
operations were to be performed as well as the scheduled time for each operation. As the work progressed, I was
updated as to any additional damage uncovered during disassembly and at that time I generated a supplemental
damage report. I then updated the customer and insurance company of the additional damage cost and change to the
scheduled completion date due to the additional time required for these repairs and obtaining parts.
I was also responsible for inventory management, payroll, technician training and quality control. I used the CCCOne
estimating system, Microsoft Office and the ADP Dealership Management software programs.

My duties included applying hand laid, vacuum bagging and robotic spray applied cryogenic insulation to the fuel tanks
and sub assemblies, applying chromate primer, sealants and epoxy paint coatings to the aluminum fuel tanks, and
applying ablative coatings to sub assemblies. I also performed mechanical assembly of fuel tanks and sub assemblies
for both the Delta IV and Delta II rockets. The work performed required the use of engineering drawings, work
instructions, blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT).
I was responsible for performing inspections for these processes as well as documenting process data including non
conformance reports, process metrics data, material records and scheduling. I reported this information weekly to the
manufacturing team, management and support functions.
Working in a team based environment, I performed process improvements to the insulation process by working with the
quality and engineering functions and conducting problem solving meetings. This resulted in numerous time and cost
savings to the tank assembly process.
I was selected to take part in the Train the Trainer program where I developed a training program and developed the on
the job training manuals for the insulation installation process. Also, as part of this program, one of my responsibilities
was the training of new technicians as well as cross training current technicians.
I was the chosen to be the Quality Data Focal for my department. I was responsible for verifying the accuracy of the
process data that was collected during the work performed in the insulation department and recorded in the
FACTORYnet Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Other computer software used included Microsoft Office, and the CSCAPP production planning system.
Collision Repair Production Manager

During this time, I operated my own collision repair facility and managed two General Motors dealership collision repair
facilities (Bobby Lang Pontiac and Lynn Layton Olds Cadillac Nissan, both in Decatur, Alabama).
The scope of the work performed was the same as the work performed at Lynn Layton Cadillac Nissan in the time
period from March 2011 – October 2014 with the addition of hands on repair of collision damaged vehicles.
In operating my own collision repair facility, I was responsible for production management as well as office
management. This included business management, payroll and human resources functions.

My duties included component level troubleshooting of automotive electronic assemblies. I worked as assembly line
support in a troubleshooter rework system as the products were being assembled.
My experience included working with digital and analog circuitry, RF circuitry, single and multi layered pc boards and
vacuum fluorescent displays (VFD). I am experienced in SMT and through hole soldering. The products I worked on
included engine control computers, stereo components, digital instrument clusters and various specialty products such
as trip computers, ride control computers and overhead consoles. The equipment used included signal generators,
oscilloscopes, signal tracers, soldering irons. digital multi meter (DMM) and test fixtures.
The work included daily use of engineering drawings, blueprints and electrical schematics.
