Coordinate and schedule repairs and preventative maintenance of over 900

dies. Assist and train technicians with tooling issues, safety, and

quality. Manage inventory of tool crib items and track usage. Assist in new

tooling design reviews and tooling modifications/refurbishments.

Responsible for Design Review, Process Plan, and Revision of new and

current projects. Coordinate quotation requests for tool build from

vendors, kick-off tool build and follow through with projects until mass

production. Attend tool tryouts, buy-off, and PPAP. Assist Tooling Manager

with tooling issues and provide assistance with drawings, quotation

requests, and hands-on tooling maintenance repairs.

Responsible for process plans for incoming new jobs and improve current

jobs for stamping and weld cells. Review data from customers and ensure

customer requests.

Manage all tooling maintenance and repair schedule. Work with Project

Engineers, Design Engineers, Sales Manager, and Quality Manager through

Production and Assembly department to produce quality parts safely and

Review and work with Engineering and various tool shops on over 300

transfer, tandem, and progressive dies for the BMW's X5 model. Verified

new incoming tooling, making sure they are built to specification and to

parts to specification and PPAP.

Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing tooling issues in a fully

automated stamping press line. Making sure production continues to run and

lessen downtime and repair tooling as needed. Work with Engineers and

Quality team to make changes or improvements to tooling to maximize

production and reduce downtime cost.

Repair and maintain tooling and perform any engineering changes requested

by customers. Work with production and die setter supervisors to improve

issues, etc.).
