US Army– Indiana National Guard 2009 to Present

Camp Atterbury

While working at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center on Title 10 orders I was involved in many different aspects of the maintenance process.

• Regularly performed such duties as ordering, researching, and acquisition of Class IX parts. I assisted the Shop Chief in performing quality control inspections.

• Utilized and referenced technical manuals, modification work orders, technical bulletins, and safety of use messages on a daily basis.

• Performed all of the duties required of a mechanic on a daily basis such as troubleshooting and diagnosing, replacing parts, servicing, adding modification work orders, inspecting, and accepting work requests.

US Army – Scottsburg, Indiana 2006 to 2008

Assistant Shop Foreman

While serving in Iraq I performed duties such as maintaining four different combat platforms to include the M1117, M1114/M1151, M1078/1083 and M923.

• Performed maintenance on various generators, forklifts, light sets, air compressors, ATVs, and other random mechanically operated equipment.

• Maintenance procedures performed were troubleshooting and diagnosing, annual services, repair of all vehicles, replacing air bags on M1083, performing technical inspections, performing modification work orders, researching and ordering parts, quality assurance inspections, and assisting all vehicle operators with preventive maintenance checks and services.

• Supervised, assisted, and trained five soldiers through the duration of my deployment. Assigned the duty appointment of POL/Hazmat NCO and managed the inventory, storage, and safety of all hazardous materials.

• Routinely operated welders, plasma cutters, and oxygen/acetylene torches. And used hand tools as well as pneumatic tools on a daily basis and was responsible for the accountability and physical security of both of the fore-mentioned.

• Responsible for the physical security of all property book items assigned to the maintenance platoon.
