As a 7-11 in the Juvenile Delinquency Gun Court, my duties included:
- Reviews of evidence in juvenile gun crimes
- Contact with police in Cook County regarding these matters
- Assistance in depositions and cross-examinations of witnesses in juvenile gun matters
- Filing briefs regarding juvenile infractions, etc.
- Assistance with multiple cases from beginning to end, including filing the initial complaint,
contacting and interviewing police officers regarding the arrests, conducting depositions,
arguing the case before a judge, and opening and closing statements.
- Conducted multiple full trials under attorney supervision and was able to successfully secure
conviction in two.

Research Internship, Under Prof. Schwinn of John Marshall Law School (June, 2008-October, 2009).
This paid internship consisted of conducting research into Prof. Schwinn’s main area of specialty, which was
civil rights litigation, as well as Trade Support Enforcement for American companies affected by Federal
legislation. Also assisted in review of Prof. Schwinn’s Basic Legal Research Book, Third Edition (Aspen,
2009).
