8. Created and developed curricula for this south Phoenix Charter School.
Implemented both general music and computer classes lesson plans, final
term examinations and basis for study.
9. Music classes - instruction included knowledge of musical terms,
recognition of orchestral instruments by sight and sound, demonstrate
elementary rhythm patterns by clapping, listening to Master composers
most famous works, singing in unison and basic music listening skills.
10. Computer classes - reviewed, ordered and installed software for
elementary age children between ages 4 and 11 years. Included
instruction for general knowledge of IBM PCs and Windows 98 operating
system (Explorer, Paint, MS Word, Windows Accessories). Software titles
include Mavis Beacon Typing Method, JumpStart series and Arthur.
Curriculum included common computer terms for beginning students to
learn and comprehend.
