Collect various water, air, and soil samples. Utilize specialized monitoring and screening

techniques in the Marcellus Shale Region as well as across the United States. Assist with report

writing. Provide QA/QC for field forms and the local database management system. Investigate

office legacy work to ensure completion and organization of records. Assist with various special

projects, eg. stray gas incidents and screenings, spill response, excavation oversight, capacity

testing, etc.

Assessing woody plant colonization on reclaimed minelands in the Wyoming Valley. Examined

the alien invasive species Black Locust. Investigated whether the species was inhibiting other

species from colonizing.
