CAREER OBJECTIVE

To develop my career as an accomplished and competent doctor within an

institution with demonstrated excellence in provision of healthcare

services. Dedicated to provide safe, efficient and affordable community

based care with special interest in research and development of the

WORK EXPERIENCE

2014 February to date Health director Al Hayat Group of hospital -

Somalia project

My duties include,

Implementing a health and nutrition program in Galguduud region

Managing available resources to suit the needs of the local population.

Liasing with stakeholders on progamme implementation.

Implementing the first surgical programme in the region.Galagaduud region.

Teaching staff on standard practice in emergencies.

Patient management at the hospital,including surgical intervention on

gunshot wounds,burns,obstetric emergencies.

Overseeing pharmaceutical procurements in line with standard procurement

practice and procedures.

Training staff on basic life support,advanced traumatic life support

Staff management in conjuction with the Hr department.

Monitoring service delivery at the hospital and health centres.

My duties include;

Ensuring relevant protocols are observed practiced and maintained by the

health staff

Organizing for procurement of pharmaceutical and non pharmaceutical

products for the Hospital and Seven health centres

Ensuring adequate coverage at the hospital and health centres

Liasing with the relevant stakeholders in promoting mother to child health

Liasing with ministry of health and UNHCR in the various vaccination drives

eg polio vaccination for both children and adults

Monitoring and evaluating better trends towards prevention of communicable

diseases

Representing the organization in various stakeholders meetings and forums

Leading the regional blood transfusion committee to ensure safe transfusion

practices and availability of enough blood and blood products
