The project entitled “Soil Based plant Nutrient Management Plan For Agro-Eco Systems

of Kerala “is a project of the department of Agriculture implemented with the support of

ICAR,KAU,KFRI,CESS,ICRI and IIITMK and coordinated by the Kerala state planning Board

The aim of the project is to analyze the nutrient status of different locations in Kerala and produce

soil health card based on the analytical status.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Expertise in the theory and operation of the following analytical instrumentation techniques.

Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS-Perkin Elmer) with flame ionization and for

trace analysis of heavy metals.

UV-Visible Spectro photometer ( Shimadzu ) for the analysis of Phosphorus, Sulphur,Boron.

Determination of Electrical Conductivity of the soil,organic manures and water by

conductivity meter.

Determination of total hardness of water by the complexometric method.

Gas Chromatography (GC-Shimadzu & Perkin Elmer)) with Electron Capture, Flame

photometric and Nitrogen phosphorous Detector.

Optical Emission Spectrophotometer for analysis of heavy metal

ANALYTICAL SKILLS:

Nutrient Analysis in soil, plant parts,fertilizers and organic manures

Heavy metal (Zinc, Copper, Lead,Mercury,Iron etc.) analysis in spices, water and food
