Manufacturing
Produced Harley Davidson 'Swing Arms' and related parts by manually mig-
welding. Utilizing robotic welding and through programming specific
guidelines I'm addition to hands on mig welding raw steel to meet Harley
Davidson specifications for their motorcycles in a production line
environment.
Role - Operated automatic mig-welding robot machines to produce specific
motorcycle parts.
Created detailed logs including documented reports of issues that were
identified on a daily basis and between a set range of assembly parts to
ensure quality. In addition to ensure every part met specific requirements
outlined by Harley Davidson which required programming robotic welders
This required making adjustments to the jigs by utilizing shims to correct
an identified issue to ensure quality control. It was also my
responsibility to ensure jigs used for manufacturing parts that found to be
in within range and meet specific requirements.
11. Provided feedback to my immediate supervisor whom then advised the
manufacturing director's how they could improve production. My
experience working directly with the director increased productivity
and parts through automation while sustaining safety and quality
control. Always striving to improve production while minimizing waste
to increase volume and reduce over-head without compromising safety.
12. Monitored and ensured quality control of the parts the robotic mig
welder was producing.
13. Ensured parts produced was within guidelines that met specific
specifications.
14. Assisted managers and team leaders with additional projects as needed
or requested.
15. I was one of three become certified mig-welding to fix issues caused
by the robotic welder.
16. Provided the opportunity to fix and repair welds that were compromised
through the automatic process.
17. Gave feedback to my direct supervisor and then worked directly with
the director on how to improve production based on my experience to
improve production was on a daily basis.
18. Created detailed logs and reports of issues that were found on a daily
basis.
19. Advised representatives and director implementations to improve
production of several machines that I operated.
20. Ensured every part through the manufacturing process met specific
measurements or took specific measures such as making minor or major
adjustments such as reprogramming the robotic welder or simply adding
shims to the jig so the part was within allotted range specified.
21. Detailed logs inspection included detailed reports of issues and
measurements throughout the day. Measurements on a specific number
and between a set range of assembly parts to ensure quality control.
In addition to ensure every part met specific requirements outlined by
Harley Davidson which required programming robotic welders.
22. This required making adjustments to the jigs by utilizing shims to
correct an identified issue to ensure quality control. It was also my
responsibility to ensure jigs used for manufacturing parts that found
to be in within range and meet specific requirements.
23. Advised my immediate supervisor along with the engineering team and
director steps that could improve production which would increase
productivity by signing through automation while sustaining safety and
quality control.
24. Always striving to improve production while minimizing waste to
increase volume and reduce over-head without compromising safety.
Accomplishments:
Promoted from machine operator to Mig-Welder and repair in addition to
provide support to the engineering team, directors, quality control to
