a tractor trailer. I start their traing from the ground up. The training includes but is not limited to classroom,
yard, and road training. All of this is accomplished in 4 weeks.
Driver/Driver Trainer
TMC Transportation - Des Moines, IA - October 2005 to Present
Duties include securing, tarping, and transport by flatbed trailer of hardware and freight to its destination on a
regional dedicated route, spanning 4 states. Maintained a perfect record, with no accidents, on time delivery,
and zero load claims. 700,000 miles driven spanning a 5 year career, 2 of which were spent training and 2
years of safety support. Maintained legal and accurate log books detailing miles driven and hours worked,
bill of lading at delivery destinations, tracked and scanned all paperwork at trans-flow locations. Was required
to spend several nights per week away from home. I currently hold the position of the spotter driver. I am
responsible for monitoring the loading of the trailers. I also am responsible for securing the loads to DOT
regulations. I keep the yard clean and safe and make sure all equipment is stored in the proper location
everyday. I supervise yard laborers and make sure they are working safely and efficiently.

Duties included work as a press operator and forklift driver, as well as MIG welder. Worked in two welding
departments for company which supplied chassi parts to Ford, GM, and Chrysler. Was plant certified on every
welding station in full frame assembly line of the Lincoln Aviator frame. Did hourly and daily quality checks,
spent time as a team leader, monitoring the two weld lines that produced GM light duty truck control arms.
Was responsible for maintenance and upkeep of welders, wire spools and leads while maintaining a perfect
safety record.
