T he company provides t raining to college graduates and anyone interested in learning ETL
tools and Reporting tools. The t raining was particularly focused on Informatica software.
T he objective was to educate t rainees in the basic functions of Informatica development.
T raining on basic functions of Business Objects Reporting tool was also provided. Real-t ime
scenario examples were provided to a group of 8 people to simulate a working environment
p roject and i t proved to be a great experience.
T raining topics:
• Design and development of mappings, mapplets and sessions from various sources (flat
f iles and Oracle) to target SQL Server database using Informatica Power Center.
• Connected, unconnected lookups and mapplets.
• Scheduling of sessions and batch process based on demand, run on t ime, run only once
using Informatica Workflow Manager.
• Basics of Windows Power Shell scripting and UN IX Scripting.
• Power Center Data Validation Option (DVO) and SQL code to enhance Data accuracy

The Project was designed for System Development process course. The Project was a great
opportunity to understand the SDLC processes starting from user requirements gathering
