Key Accountabilities
Customer Service/Technical Support - Provides answers to clients by
identifying problems; researching answers; guiding client through
corrective steps. Redirect problems to appropriate resource. Stay current
with system information, changes and updates. Interact with customers to
provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and
requests about products and services. Diagnose and provide path to
resolving inquiries. Work with confidential customer information.
Verification of customer for security purposes before releasing any
information. Suggest self help tools that will assist customer. Accurately
log all customer interactions in data management system. Troubleshoot
installation of software website assistance, and on iOS device to resolve
issue by phone support. Ran Diagnostic test on device when applicable. Set
up repair for customer and or made appointment for customer to take device
in ARS for repair. Screen share with customer to better assist and walk
through process to resolve.
Reservation Agent/Travel Coordinator - Reserve and confirm travel
arrangements for various trips and tours to numerous destinations for
individuals and groups. Researched all the required information regarding
the various travel options offered by the agency to the customers either on
phone or in person. Arrange for the bookings over the phone or online.
Proactively market, sell and consult with clients in regards to tour,
cruise, air, car and hotel products and all other related services. Keep up
to date with knowledge of vacation, tour, and cruise areas, tour packaging,
preferred vendors and in-house groups. Ensure accommodations meet
specifications of requesting party. Attended staff and training meetings.
Completes all ticketing, secured payments and submit all monies and
paperwork to accounting. Prepare detailed itineraries upon bookings to
ensure accuracy of reservations and provided confirmation to clients. Call
vendors to ensure extension of payment deadlines when necessary.
Accounts Payables/Billing - Review and verify invoices and check requests.
Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
Created and maintained spreadsheet for invoice approvals, month end and
quarterly accruals. Sort, code, match invoices (two and three way). to
checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies. Research
and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Reviewed reports to ensure
appropriate invoices are listed for payment via checks/wires/EFTs. Maintain
vendor records. Worked closely with supervisor and controller assisting in
management of monies. Managed check runs, check distribution (special
mailings) and payment reports. Handled inquiries from vendors and company
personnel. Trained new employees during transitional periods. Respond to
all vendor inquiries. Processed wire transfers. Uploaded and transmitted
files to bank.
