SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Presented a project in the Sushrutha Innovation Awards titled “Nitric oxide Therapy for
the local inhibition of blood platelets “on 2nd and 3rd of March, 2012 in International
Medical Fair held at Mumbai conducted by Sahjananad Laser Technology, and won 2nd
prize and cash prize worth Rs40000 in all India level for the project presentation.
PROJECT DETAILS:
• Diagnosis of different stages of diabetic retinopathy: In this project, the different
stages of diabetic retinopathy are analyzed. As a result, four groups are identified, viz.,
normal retina, moderate non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy, severe non-proliferative
diabetic retinopathy and proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Classification of the four eye
diseases is achieved using a three-layer feed-forward neural network. The features are
extracted from the raw images using the image processing techniques and fed to the
classifier for classification.

• Working as trainee in the department of Biomedical Engineering in Sree Gokulam
Medical College and Research Foundation, Thiruvananthapuram from May 6th 2014

Thiruvananthapuram from 17th May 2013 to 22nd August 2013
