Senior Certified Right of Way Acquisition Specialist
• Appraised, negotiated and relocated property owners within State of Missouri to acquire Right of Way for
highway expansion programs through use of Eminent Doman.
• Supervised Local Public Agency’s (LPA’s) Right of Way acquisition programs – Local municipal and county
governments that lacked dedicated Right of Way Departments that requested such services from MODOT in
order to complete such public works projects as water, sewer, highways and flood buyouts, etc.
• Participated with initial planning and development of Right of Way budgets with regard to proposed public
works projects.
• Awarded vendor contracts for: Right of Way Appraisal and Negotiation, Relocation services, Environmental
studies, A&E services, Title and Abstracting services.
• Met with condemnation commissioners to explain planned Right of Way acquisition projects.
• Gathered trial information, served as government’s expert witness with regard to land values, property
damages and relocation issues during condemnation litigation.
