Performed maintenance on heavy and full combat tracked vehicles as well as tactical wheeled vehicles. Diagnosed malfunctions,
assembled kits, installed components and ordered replacement parts. Interpreted schematics and diagrams, referenced technical
manuals and troubleshooting procedures Fabricated hoses and lines. Conducted modification work orders and used calibration
sensitive test equipment. Inspected and repaired diesel and turbine engines, weapons and armament systems, turrets, suspensions,
electrical, air and hydraulic systems. Managed 9 mechanics and 2 supervisors. Responsible for quality assurance and control,
safety, time and task management and the training of new mechanics through programs, processes and guidelines. Work performed
within a time limit, in adverse conditions and with limited resources. Knowledgeable in the proper use of tools and equipment.
Resource management experience over 6 years. Use of forklifts, overhead cranes, special purpose recovery vehicles and task
specific machinery such as brake test machines. Recorded the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 23 vehicles under
normal circumstances and as many as twice that on occasion. Maintained vehicle records as well as all personnel records on the
mechanics that I supervised.
