Environmental Division Lead & Hiring Manager,
As a seasoned 10+ year professional geologist, I have attached a copy of my
resume. Note that I possess a no-nonsense, results-driven, and responsible
approach to scientific studies and regulatory compliance. I work well
within an interdisciplinary team and take great pride in my ability to
communicate knowingly, concisely, and effectively.
My goal is to join a team of professionals that will benefit from my
technical skills and extensive field experience in an open and friendly
atmosphere.
Major projects include
- Contaminate identification and determining plume extent for the
decommissioning of the ConocoPhillips refinery in Borger, Texas.
Project development and management of phytoremediation pilot project
to remove tetraethyl lead (USEPA).
- Determined detailed subsurface flow through a complex karstic system
for the remediation of TCE and breakdown products on the Redstone
Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama (DoD, DoE, CoE).
- Determined the free product and plume extent at the previously
dismantled Texaco refinery at Sunburst, Montana (USEPA, DoE).
- Subsurface flow characterization for the Back Forty Project in the
Upper Peninsula of Michigan (DEQ).
- Determined detailed subsurface flow through a complex system for the
remediation of Antrax on the Ft. Dietrich Maryland proving grounds
(DoD, DoE, CoE).
- Simulation of surface water runoff resulting from pine beetle
infestation, Apache Springs watershed, Conifer, Colorado (DEQ). Model
and presentation available.
- Preliminary Risk Assessment for the Red Mountain Reservoir Superfund
Site (DEQ). Model and presentation available.
- Subsurface flow characterization for Dissolution mining of uranium for
Powertech's 'Centennial Project' in Weld County Colorado (USEPA, DoE).
I have fulfilled the academic and experience requirements for California
state licensing as a PG and will be taking at FG and PG test July 2015.
I am available to discuss my resume or to schedule an interview at (303)
818-9353. I look forward to hearing from you
