Graduate from Wayne State University, Michigan, working as a team lead in

nuclear industry. Performed Stress and Seismic Analysis of Nuclear

Equipment to meet the ASME Code requirements. Extensively used Section II,

Section III of ASME code for Pressure Boundary components, Piping and

. OPG ECI strainers Design- Project involves Emergency Core Injection

System strainers for CANDU reactor. Designed to meet ASME code Section

III, Division 1, NF requirements.

. Embalse Nuclear Refurbishment Project- Assessment of Fuelling Machine

support structure with new seismic loads and life extension.

. Prepared and reviewed design reports, design specifications for

Fuelling Machine Bridge for Candu reactor. Prepared and certified the

design and stress reports for nuclear equipment.

. COG Hydriding Test Rig Chalkriver- Manifold Designed and stress

analysis performed to meet requirements of B31.3 piping code.

1. Point Lepreau Nuclear Station - Due to an accident at site, there was

an urgent need of damage assessment for the FM Bridge Structure. The

FM Bridge critical components were assessed based on ASME code NF

support requirement and results provided on urgent basis. Also various

possible methods presented to the Fuel Handling group for the

estimation of failure loads for stationary platform.

2. Wolsong Nuclear Station - Retubing project activities: developed new

concepts in the design of the Feeder Platform. Proposed design

modifications to meet the safety and functional requirements.

Assessed the feasibility of the design and structural integrity

confirmed by using the Finite Element Analysis. Coordinated with the

contractor for the supply of the platform and resolved issues related

to standard material selection and meeting the code requirements.

3. Worked on stress and Seismic analysis of variety of CANDU & NRU

nuclear components. Examples include FM Bridge, strainer project,

pipe support assessment and NRU return to service project.

4. Qualification of mechanical components based on mechanical, thermal

and seismic loads. Also qualified to certify the design reports to

meet the ASME nuclear code requirements.

5. Designed the tools for annulus gas system for fuel channel replacement

purpose for Point Lepreau Refurbishment Project

6. ANSYS, STARDYNE and ADLPIPE Finite Element Analysis programs used in

the projects to perform the structural and thermal analysis.

. Designed the mock-up assembly for the testing of the designed tools
