Professional Background
February 2013 to Current: Projects Unit, Ministry of Defense, Qatar
DVM, Houbara Bustard breeding specialist in a new project (Doha, Qatar) and head of the veterinary
department, this project is realized by the Ministry of Defense of Qatar
October 2010 to February 2013: RENECO for Wildlife Preservation, Abu Dhabi and Emirates
Center for Conservation of Houbara (ECCH), Uzbekistan
Coordinator of the Veterinary Department at ECCH in Uzbekistan this includes; health monitoring of
breeders and juveniles, breeding procedures (especially semen analysis, artificial insemination and
incubation), chicks rearing procedures (feeding, hygiene, vaccination), biosecurity measures and
Houbara release into the wild.

Contribution in the study of a new Houbara breeding project by performing an inventory of the
epidemiological status of the environment of the site
