Kao Brands Company HRIS Consultant / Software Implementation ADP
- Negotiated service agreement reducing expenses 11.2% while improving
processes
- HRIS implementation, developed and executed plan to standardize all
three corporations HR/Benefits/Payroll departments. Interviewed 17
members of HR/Payroll from all three companies to assess needs,
improve process, redesign process flow and standardize reporting in
preparation for Global HR/Payroll system implementation.
- Implemented new Benefits software in time for automated open
enrollment while standardizing the HR/Payroll systems. This saved
hundreds of hours by removing the manual process.
Sunny Delight Beverage Co ERP Consulting and HRIS Implementation ADP
- Negotiated a 15% discount on all charges from third party payroll
processor.
- Analyzed entire HR/Benefits/Payroll policies, practice and process
in all 6 factory locations. Identified weak areas, those that are not
in compliance, then documented recommendations in solution document.
- Project managed HR/Benefits/Payroll implementation of acquisition
from Kraft Foods that increased their employee count 50%. Developed
project plan then executed importing of employee data into
HR/Benefits/Payroll /Kronos systems.

attendance, workers comp, tax agencies, etc.
- Created payroll department, assisted in hiring new payroll manager.

CBS Personnel Holdings, Inc. - A dominant player in the commercial staffing
market. Director of Payroll Services April 2004 to January 2005. Staff of
24 associates; processed 18,000 paychecks weekly on in-house system. Moral
and long hours caused high turnover. Automated labor intensive segments of
the payroll process, dramatically improving accuracy and productivity by
implementing Kronos time keeping software and Excel solutions to replace
outdated manual processes.
First Group America is the leading provider of transportation and fleet
services in North America. Payroll Manager; April 2003 to April 2004.
Managed a staff of 12, paying 28,000 employees in 37 states under 15
different tax entities on ADP V3 Enterprise software; hands on processing
of Executive payroll. The biggest challenge was cleaning up all the State
and Federal tax inquiries.
Ceridian Inc. - October 1999 to July 2002 Implementation Coordinator
- Implementation coordinator for Ceridian's first web based version of
HR/Payroll product. Worked with business product development team and
development programmers on Alpha/Beta client implementation. My focus was
to train the client on the software, listen to the client's software change
recommendations, and ensure client satisfaction and timely issue resolution
by communicating effectively with the programmers and product development
team. Also responsible for relationship with high profile/ high revenue
clients; negotiated service agreement increases and consulted on payroll
matters with client executive teams.
Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADP), -October 1978 to July 1999
ADP National Accounts 1993 - 1999
- Selected to initially implement ADP's HR/Payroll HRizon product,
now called Enterprise worked with development team during execution of
product launch, listened to the client's needs and programming issues.

Implemented Enterprise HR/Payroll software in largest most complicated
clients like, HJ Heinz, BFGoodrich, Huffy Bicycle, and Earthgrains
Bread.
