Responsibilities:
Currently working on project named NG-NMS.
NG-NMS is the Network Management System web based tool for the Satellites. All
the Satellite communications are done through the network consisting of remotes,
hubs, modems, etc. NMS is the tool to check if all the systems are working fine.
Involves developing, maintaining and testing the tools used by the iDirect Asia clients
all over the world.
Mojolicious Perl is the framework used for Perl. MySql is the databases being used.
The server used is Apache on Linux.
UBS, Singapore (client) (July, 2012 – Aug, 2013)
Position: Associate Operational Manager (Cognizant Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Singapore)

Responsibilities:
Worked for a client UBS at Singapore.
Involves developing, maintaining and testing the tools used by the in-house teams of
UBS.
The tools are being used by UBS employees all over the World.
Used technologies are mod_perl and Oracle as backend and ExtJs framework for the
front-end.
Mojolicious Perl is the framework used for Perl. The server used is Apache on
Linux.
There are automations of the manual tasks, query optimizations, creating reports,
back-end scripts and watching error logs for any break downs.
All the projects involved almost complete software development life cycle steps such
as meeting with teams and gathering the requirements, designing, developing and
testing the tool before releasing into production.
• Infogain Pvt. Ltd (Sept, 2009 - Jun, 2012)
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
Worked on Web based Virtual Call Center Application for US based client, based on
Perl.
Development of new application and maintenance of existing code.
The technologies used were Perl, Linux and Java Script.
Created scripts in Ruby which helps in automation of the QA work.
Managed team of two software engineers and a trainee working on the same project.
Daily meeting with client to discuss system requirements, specification, costs and
timelines of the project.
Also assisted seniors in recruiting junior/senior engineers.
Created various monitors to check the errors in the regular fulfillment reports or DNIS
campaigns or offers. The last project was eLisst which was based on Perl and Tex
technology. Here created a hyperlink which would gather all the information of the
offer from the Database to the Perl script. The Perl Script in turn would pass on that
information in the format of Tex file. This Tex file would then be converted into an
RTF file using the latex2rtf.
Also worked on the back-end script using Core Java to insert and update the data into
the Memcached for further use by web pages.
All the work was done under Agile Software development practices.
• Tavant Technologies Ltd. (July, 2008 – Aug, 2009)
Position: Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
Work involved creating and maintaining BSS Web based Applications in Perl
(mod_perl), Embperl, CSS, Java Script, AJAX, HTML, MySql and Linux for
clients in US.
Shoebuy project which included development of their web site. Created the User
Registration Page where User can register his/her details to login to the site.
Also worked on New York Times web application development project.
1. Getting news feeds from the news web sites and gather that in the database.
2. Display that page using HTML.

• Work involved creating and maintaining programs in Perl, CGI, HTML, Shell
Scripting and Java Script for the Telecom based tools on UNIX server.
