Summary

I am a newly graduated student. Even though I do not have much

experience with translation, my overseas experience is one of my

advantages. I am more familiar with English idioms than most of the Chinese

applicators who have never been abroad. Also, I am a native speaker of

Chinese, which means my Chinese is more decent than other applicants who

learns Chinese as a second language. My experience with both languages

makes me a reliable translator.

Freelance translator (2013.6-Now)

Worked as a freelance translator for some events and activities, where

foreign teachers are invited to China and deliver lessons. Have also done

works such as translating documents and handle daily emails. Topics varies

from arts, history, occultism, literature to make-ups.

Some of my college courses are also relevant to translation. For

instance, we have translated some classical Chinese literature works such

as Huainan Zi, Shiji, Daode Jing into English for

the purpose of academic research.

Worked with the team to translation classical works or occultism works

into Chinese.

Green Tarot House (2014.4-Now)

Worked with the teachers in the house to translate foreign materials and

give English classes for whoever in the house that wants to improve their

Worked with a team of 5 to translate course materials. Many

terminologies were translated into Chinese for the fir time.

Worked in an online shop, answering customers' questions and provide

after-sale service.
