Personal statement
As a highly-motivated and results orientated person I am very hard working and work to achieve my
goals. I have a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of service when I m working as a
customer assistant. As recent graduate from Heythrop university of London degree in Philosophy and
Ethics, I have undertaken internship in researching. This placement have enabled me to develop not
only following skills such as communication and team work and but also a valuable and transferable
skill set in this fast-paced sector. During this placement, I worked in Panlogic, which is a digital
engineering researching company – and managed my own research, which involved going to places
such national gallery and speaking to people and asked them to take a survey. Utilising excellent
communication skills, I developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal
and external staff. Looking for a work place where i can achieve goals and work as a team as well as
an individual, where I can bring immediate and strategic value and develop current skill set further. I
have adopted strong communication skills from my internship and my current part-time job. In my
philosophy degree I learnt critical thinking and as a result I have excellent ability to adapt to difficult
situations. I am detail orientated. I am a capable problem solver. I speak one foreign language, which
is Sinhalese. I'm good at word, Microsoft as well as excel. I am known for my good organisational
skills and working knowledge of visual basic. I possess time and project management and leadership
skills.

Hobbies & Interests
I have a keen interest in writing and I am interested in becoming a counsellor in the future. I was part
of the creative writing club during my time at university, and during this period I managed gain useful
