Employment History
• Child Care Provider, Private in Home Day Care, May 2010- Present. I am responsible for 5 kids on a daily basis. My hours are from 5 am till 10 pm Monday thru Friday. During those hours breakfast is served, snack, and lunch, and if the child stays after 5 PM dinner would also be served. Also I engage the children with an array of activities from games, puzzles, music, arts and crafts as well as outdoor time. When the parents pick up their children I provide feedback to the parents on the child’s progress and their day.
• Admissions Advisor, The Academy of Health Care Professions, November 2009- April 2010. Some of my responsibilities as an Admission Advisor were to return incoming calls within three hours to set appointments for prospective students. I would also greet students, interview potential student on why they should be accepted into the school. I also informed my potential students of cost, and what suggested the best fit for each student as an individual. I would take my potential students on a tour of the school and have them to chat very briefly with the instructors and meet with the staff. I would also meet the students and greet them on Orientation day. I was expected to bring in at least 10 students a month and always exceeded my goal.
• Admissions Specialist, TechSkills, LLC, April 2007- September 2009. As an Admission Specialist I achieved 166% of sales target, which was considered best within the campus. I lead to appointment rate consistently above 80% as well as tripled campus revenue and set new campus cash collections record of 172% of target.
• Furniture Sales Representative, Macy’s, August 2000- April 2009. I was responsible for Greeting customers and assisting in their selection, setting up deliveries. I would also submit the orders to ensure all of the customer’s requests were met as explained. In addition, I attempted to always complete follow-up phones calls after delivery to ensure satisfaction. I was awarded Sales Representative of the Month, for three consecutive months.
