A) Part of the Leadership Team responsible for the
management of the Company with primary responsibilities
for providing marine, ship management and HSEQ advice to
the Leader Team as well as the manning of the fleet;
B) DPA and CSO for the Company. Conducted internal ISM,
ISPS and QA audits as well incident investigations.
C) Oversaw the successful transition of manning
arrangements with the exit of BP Shipping from CLSICO;
D) Introduced new safety programs including SafeStart.

A) Responsible for the technical management of a Canadian
flag shuttle tanker fleet serving the offshore fields
off Eastern Newfoundland as well as an Arctic bulk
carrier owned by Fednav of Montreal and local berthing
tugs in Placentia Bay;
B) Achieved significant savings in the areas of budgetary
control and procurement;
C) Participated as Incident Commander for incidents and
exercises, the largest being a three day ExxonMobil oil
spill response drill in Placentia Bay.
05.2007 - 12.2008: Fleet Manager, Pacific Offshore Services Inc.,
Vancouver, BC.
A) Responsible for the management of a 36 year old Canadian
owned and crewed deep sea salvage tug;
B) Took the vessel successfully through her 7th Special
Survey.

A) Self employed Shipping Consultant working primarily on
the operational aspects of CNG and LNG projects,
including CNG projects in Africa, New Zealand and

B) Conducted internal ISM, ISPS and QA audits on the crude
oil fleet operated by a major international tanker
owner.

A) Conducted ISPS Ship Security Assessments, produced Ship
Security Plans and conducted security training on behalf

04.2001 - 03.2003: General Manager, Seaspan Ship Management Ltd.,

A) Deputy in charge of a new ship management company with
responsibilities including the development of the ship
management operation, quality assurance and crewing;
B) Produced shipboard and office procedures in order to
meet desired safety, environmental and quality assurance
requirements (ISM, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001). Obtained ISM
accreditation both for the office and the five vessels
concerned;
C) Responded to, and as DPA eventually investigated, all
marine, personnel or cargo related incidents.

A) Deputy in charge of Office responsible for the third
party management of a varied fleet of 20 vessels
including open hatch bulk carriers, container vessels,
LPG carriers and product tankers. Responsibilities
included marine, cargo, safety and environmental matters
as well as budgetary control and client liaison;
B) Particular interest in, and responsibility for, PRC
crewing activities.

Kuwait Oil Tanker Co. SAK, Kuwait.
A) Responsible for the day to day marine operations and
safety management of a fleet of over 30 crude oil,
product and LPG carriers;
B) Contributed to rebuilding the Company after the Gulf War
and the Kuwait response to OPA 90 where we achieved all
the required targets and compliances within the
deadlines.
04.1988 - 03.1992: Operations Director, Enron Arbross Ship Management
Ltd., Hong Kong.
A) Instrumental in the establishment this brand new LPG
ship management company, which expanded rapidly and had
11 vessels under management in a period of two years;
B) Responsible for the day to day marine operations, safety
management, crewing and insurance for the fleet.
