Assistant during 2010 and 2011 summer months. P rovided clerical support for the
B rewery, Wholesaler/Importer Application Section. Successfully obtained a NACI
background clearance and Personal Identity Verification credentials required for
employment by TTB.
* Processed industry requests for amendments to alcohol permits as required by the Federal
A lcohol Administration Act, including: changes in address/location, change of entity name,
addition/deletion of t rade names, addition/deletion of commodity, and addition/deletion of
officers, directors, shareholders or members.
* Initiated correspondence to taxpayers or their representatives, via phone or email, to
obtain clarification or further documentation for amendment requests as required by
B ureau procedures.
* Screened incoming brewery, alcohol wholesaler/importer applications, industry
correspondence and legal documents; refer to staff or reroute to appropriate departments.
* Compiled data, maintained records, filed and retrieved information from files, photocopied
or faxed documents as required.
* Established, updated, and maintained office records, forms, and supplies of various types
t hat were needed or will assist in the efficient operation of the office.
