Previous Experiences
Paraprofessional: Marion County School Board February 2006 to present. My job is to work
with the senior class teacher and co-teach children from Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade.
These children have behavior issues and require special attention to keep them calm and
encouraged to succeed. I was TEACH trained in order to restrain in a non threatening way, when
the child when he becomes a danger to himself or others. I have also worked as a media center
assistant for one and a half years as well as Pre-K for one year. I am very flexible and will do
whatever needs to be done when it is needed.
Licensed Massage Therapist: Graduated CTAE December 9th 2010. I learned many different
massage modalities to give my clients the best massage for their individual needs. This was a
class with 850 hours to ensure that we got all the information and training to be an informed
Medical Massage Therapist and learn all the anatomy and physiology necessary to understand
kinesiology how the muscles and bones work together to move the body. Aroma therapy, hydro
therapy and many other ways the body can be relaxed and expedite healing.
Admitting Clerk: Munroe Regional Hospital. I entered demographics, insurances, and all other
pertinent information for new patients, and Pre-registered out patients for miscellaneous tests. I
worked in the ER during Hurricane Season when we were experiencing a higher than usual
volume of patients.
Medical Biller/Coder: Coded 200 out patient accounts per day. One and a half years
Office Manager: Hull Well and Pump Service. My duties included answered service calls,
dispatching calls to laborers, collected payments, made bank deposits, scheduled service calls,
billed clients, worked with suppliers and County Inspectors to ensure all water samples were
submitted in a timely manner.
Front Desk: Clermont Medical Center. My duties were to pull charts for the next days scheduled
patients, check in patients as well as cash out patients. I was responsible for verifying all
information to be current and correct. I scheduled patients as well as calling to remind patients of
their appointment for the next day. I was responsible for knowing where every chart was at all
times so the Doctors could have access to them at any given time.
Secretarial: I have worked at secretarial jobs for over ten years. I worked in an apartment
complex where I received the rental payments, scheduled maintenance, kept track of the rental
units as to which ones were vacant, ready for rent, inspection or were in the process of turning. I
worked with the renters, and our three managers to maintain all aspects of the properties.
