WORK EXPERIENCE
Creation Technologies - Milpitas, Ca. 2012-
PRESENT
System Integration Engineering Leader & Continuous Improvement Coach
. I have four System Integration (box build) Engineer reports and also head
up and drive all lean & continuous improvement initiatives throughout the
company, reporting to the corporative head of Quality & Continuous
Improvement submitting Pursuit of Excellence measurements & Lean
Scorecards
. During early 2012, as part of a team of 3 (with the GM & Ops leader) I
coordinated the move of half of the workforce (140 employees) from the
Santa Clara plant to the new Milpitas plant which included procurement of
equipment, building & contractor work. I also designed and laid out the
full production floor space incorporating point of use material storage
(no stock room) in 50,000 Sq. Ft of shop floor space from SMT through to
shipping
. I lead many Lean projects including facilitating Kaizen event projects to
increase efficiency & reduce waste. The latest being an SMT kit
separation, SMT set-up & SMT change-over kaizen event that has a
projected cost saving/cost avoidance of over $500k+ in labor and SMT
downtime
. During 2010 I Introduced mandatory monthly A3 Cost saving/cost avoidance
exercises for all System Integration Engineers which enabled our small
department to save $120k+ year on year
