Designed Advanced Combustion devices for Next Generation Aircraft Gas Turbine Engines at GE

under ‘New Product Introduction’ program with emphasis on lower emissions, and reduced

acoustic dynamics.

Tools used: Engineering Design, Unigraphics to create CAD components, Gambit for

meshing, computational simulations (Combustion reacting flow and non-reacting) with Fluent and

Designed and built Advanced TAPS II Aero Mixer for conceptual design of LEAP-X combustor.

The design was identified as very innovative and efficient and was chosen for detailed design. It

led to nomination for ‘Rockstar Innovator Award” ERW 2010.
