Designed Advanced Combustion devices for Next Generation Aircraft Gas Turbine Engines at GE
under ‘New Product Introduction’ program with emphasis on lower emissions, and reduced
acoustic dynamics.
Tools used: Engineering Design, Unigraphics to create CAD components, Gambit for
meshing, computational simulations (Combustion reacting flow and non-reacting) with Fluent and
statistical analysis and others.
Designed and built Advanced TAPS II Aero Mixer for conceptual design of LEAP-X combustor.
The design was identified as very innovative and efficient and was chosen for detailed design. It
led to nomination for ‘Rockstar Innovator Award” ERW 2010.
Developed standard procedures for executing Computational Fluid Dynamics methods for
business teams leading to process simplification, efficiency and reduced team overhead
