Controlling inventory volumes and costs for 4 international locations and 2 domestic
locations. This company does sourcing to acquire their apparel from a variety of
worldwide manufactures. Due to growth we had begun to develop a standard cost
system utilizing PPV and Un-vouchered accounts to segregate each appropriate cost
element leading to correct inventory value, pricing and profitabili ty. This will lead
to a full ERP system dealing with Sales Orders, Work Orders and inventory control.
P lace cost controls on freight, duties, raw materials, commissions and i tems
manufacturing costs by factory.

Developed Programs emphasizing fuel excise and sales tax and recovered over $375,000 and

Directly reporting to the owner concerning taxes, farming activities, Whole Turkeys, Turkey
Eggs, 1000 acre almonds, heifers, land management and 110 rail car receiving station.
I mproved the utilization of land by renting to row crop farmers and others. Revenue
acquired created 100% increase in income.

2000
A food processing operation that produced 10% of the product line 90% co-packed under
contract. Enforced contract guidelines claims against co-packer enhancing product quality
and increased reimbursement not claimed prior - collected $100,000 per year.
Developed improved budget analysis and production reporting leading to increased
u nderstanding of production improvement through ROI and decreasing product cost.
Several projects were initiated and implemented leading to a $350,000 yearly savings.

We grew a $17,000 profit into a $3.5M profit in 4 years, expanding the market presence, raw
material sources while building a new cannery. By adding additional products and
i ncreasing plant utilization from 15% to 65% and moving from a main frame to PC systems
lead to increased staff efficiencies and improved fixed costs utilization. After 5 years I was
d irectly involved in the sale of Valley Fresh to a new Owner.
