BNSF Railway April 2013 -

Present

Architect - member of the enterprise architecture-working group to

establish enterprise architecture office for BNSF by adopting TOGAF as

framework. Lead data architecture working group to define data

architecture management capabilities for the enterprise by adopting

DAMA-BOK framework, and defining enterprise information management

strategy. As an architect also to provide expert knowledge for multiple

projects to multiple organizations within the modernization program.

TIBCO 2012 -

2013

Architect in PSG group to provide expert knowledge on data management and

architecture. Tasks included installation, and configuration of Tibco CIM,

Tibco EMS.

Accenture LLC. 2011 -

2012

Manager in Process & Information Management group to provide expert

knowledge on data management, big data and architecture. Duties included

but not limited to focus on business development by working with

business/IT stakeholders to understand their business issues, requirement

gathering (functional & system), recommend strategy, provide road map, to

data management to CDW Corporation. Responsibilities included but not

Lead data manager to assist Chevron's AMBU IT with data collection

understand contracts, agreements, and timelines and identify type of data

to collect (electronic or hardcopy) from acquired companies prior to

specific timeline.

Data Management & Conversion lead to assist Target to outline the data

management conversion and enrichment strategy. List all the data that

have to be converted or enriched to the packaged software and provide

high-level conversion guidelines to the team.

Lead Master Data Management (MDM) to provide solutions for supporting the

shared service model and overall Enterprise Information for Time Warner's

Cognizant Technology Solutions 2009 - 2011

Principal Architect-Technology

Duties included but not limited to provide expert knowledge on data

Senior Data Architect on multiple Wal-Mart project such as Yard

Management System (YMS), GLS Imports 2.0 to manage, oversee data

architect's work, and establish data governance process.

Architect Harrisburg, PA 2009

Lead Solution Architect on the United Concordia Dental e-Business

Strategy project to define the key web technology capabilities and

systems to support the future state portal.

Defined high-level plan for designing and developing new enhanced

enabling systems that results in reducing system maintenance cost.

Architect Chicago, IL, 2008

Part of Solution Architect team for CCSP (claims customer service

process) to implement Service Oriented Architecture for Blue Cross Blue

Shield of Illinois to process adjudication, coordination of benefits

(COB), at the member level rather than subscriber level (provided MDM

solution). Participant in joint session to gather customer requirements.

Analyzed the current system capabilities, which led to providing detail

system gap analysis, system impact analysis, high-level requirements, and

solution architecture docs. Tools-technologies: UML, Rational Software

Architect (RSA), Relatively, SOMA.

The effort led client to consider agile methodology instead of waterfall

and also based on the data analysis performed, client realized the need

for master data management strategy and planning. Also resulted in

forming eight new projects in which I participated including application

Provided guidance for data migration from disparate legacy systems to a

single SAP (ECC6) ERP system such as building canonical data model,

conversion design document (CDD) and technical design document (TDD).

SAP MDM consultant for identifying master data and managed IBM resource

Enterprise Data Architect, Detroit, Michigan 2006

Led the effort to set standard, guidelines, and best practices on Master

Data Management (MDM) and Meta Data Management. Performed research in the

industry's best practices and compiled knowledge on the subject and

presented it as white paper to company's Fellow. Recommended best

architectural solutions by evaluating software and other components such

as KALIDO, i2, Oracle and Data Mirror. Provided guidance to other team

members via writing white papers, preparing demo, that is, built

prototype to present how MDM fits into SOA.

As a single MDM SME participated once a week meeting in Detroit with GM

business executives for planning and design sessions.

Enterprise Data Architect, Plano, Texas, 2005 - 2006

Led effort to set XML Schema Standard for CIO group. Performed research

in Master Data Management Methodology and implementation tools.

Pioneered the first CIO "XML Schema Standard" that provided and

established guidelines for the structure of xml schema document (XSD).

This document rolled out as guidelines / standard for xml structure for

CIO organization and I was nominated to receive distinguish engineering

award.
